Hello!
Me and my mum are going for xmas to Ko samui and Ko Tao, and im wondering if someone can suggest me where is the best place to stay-maybe some good and cheap hotels, hostels?
Do you need something special to take there-like special socket,...? We have never travel to Thailand before, so i will be very happy to get any special information for staying in Thailand.
Thank you very much! 😊 Reply to this

Hello Kaja 😊

If you are looking for a nice quiet beach, with a cheap place to stay, then try Rasta Baby beach bungalows on Hat Bo Phut beach on Koh Samui.

You would probably need an adapter to use your electrical items in Thailand. I dont know much about them, because I dont take any stuff like that with me when I travel. Hopefully, somebody else can be more informative.

Hi there,Iv just come from Koh Samui,Im now on Koh Phangan.

I stayed at a place called Chalee Villas on Bo Phut for two weeks. The bungalows are small but I got a decent deal for a two week stay so thats what attracted me rather than moving on. Its on the far west of the Bo Phut beach but when I was there the sand was litterd with washed up debrit. I would recomend stopping nearer to the Bo Phut town so you are able to try out the various resteraunts without to much of a walk,I cant remember the names but there is a few nice ones on the beach front that I tried out.Very good value too.

A Multi travell adapter will see you fine over here. You will be able to get one off that well known market place ;-)

I payed 6 Euros, 3 years ago. The bungalow had a double bed, a fan, a bathroom and a porch with chairs to sit on. There was also a cafe beside it and the beach was around 50 M from it.

When we stayed on Lamai 2 yrs ago, we paid 15 USD per night and had a king size bed, Aircon, tv, bathroom and a nice little porch with chairs. We were about 5 feet from the restaurant and 15 from the ocean. Reply to this
