Any suggestions on European cities that can be seen in a limited amount of time?
I am hoping to plan a one-week trip with a couple other women, and we are looking for suggestions as to the best European cities to visit in a limited span of time (safety is a top priority for us). We\'ve already explored the UK, Italy, France and Spain, so we\'re looking for something a little different, perhaps in Eastern Europe. I\'ve found that some cities are easier to explore in a limited amount of time than others. Any suggestions?
Reply to this Hello Danielle - how about a combination of Vienna and Prague? I'm not sure of the safety aspect as it's been a long time since my visit (it was safe back then) but the attractions in both are very strong. The bonus is that you do not need to invest a lot of time in these cities to reap the benefits.
Reply to this to be honest most cities in europe are as safe as the next one. it really depends on your interests. slovenia is one of the most beautiful countries i have been to so you could stay in ljubliana the capital which is just two hours away from lake bled which is one of the most beautiful places i have been. i would agree with pragueas the post above says and i would aslo consider budapest. some great restauaunts on the danube, buda castle and numerous outdoor spas to relax and get pampered at.
