Travelling to Quebec/ Eastern Canada with two small children for four weeks - what should we do and see?

We are travelling to Montreal in June with two small children (2 and 4). We have just under four weeks. We plan on visiting Montreal and Quebec, maybe getting a campervan and driving over to Niagara Falls. I am trying to find a nice place to chill for a week. We'd normally head for the coast but are open to ideas. Anyone know somewhere on Lake Ontario, maybe? Reply to this

There is a provincial park in Picton called Sandbanks that is very good... but make a reservation asap if you plan to go Reply to this
