| How to island hop from Koh Samui to Koh Phi Phi? | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||

Is it too ambitious to want to cover both Koh Samui and Koh Phi Phi? How does one travel from one island to the other? How far apart are they? | Thanks Any information or experience of both islands will be appreciated. We flew in Krabi and went to Ao Nang and then took a boat to Phi Phi. Krabi is about 15 minutes from Ao Nang by songthaew. The boat ride to Phi Phi was under 2 hrs if I remember correctly. | From Krabi we booked a bus/ferry ticket for Samui. We left around 8:00 in the morning and headed to Surat Thani (actually just up the road from there to the pier). We were on the ferry and at Samui's pier by 18:00. You then have to get a ride to your guest house.
