I am spending 7 relaxing nights in Yelapa at a new place on the water. Anyone have good suggestions on places to go deep sea fishing and off the beaten path recommendations??

Ben, The waterfalls are still pretty there though the rains eased a while ago and therefore the water is lower than during the rainy summer. Hike up if fit or hire a horse and follow the guide's trail up to beauty. There is a restaurant there for lunch, snacks or a cool one. Try to arrive in Yelapa betwen 10-10:30am as that is when the world-famous Yelapa Pie Lady arrives by panga with nephew carrying whole pies just removed from her ovens. Buy right then or as they say, if you snooze you lose! Coconut pie, lime merengue, pecan, apple oh my gosh, when is supper? Right on the beach, you can eat at one of the palapas there but keep in mind it is beach food, so-so. Fun spot. Take the water taxi from Playa Los Muertos pier, check time the day before. I list a bunch of spots in my dining guide.
Let us know, OK?
