I am Gary from San Francisco, CA. My first trip to mi Paraiso, AKA Puerto Vallarta, Mexico was in 1979 and my, how the place has changed, many aspects for the better. I enjoy OldTown/SouthSide the best but venture by car, jeep or van north and south to the small towns and beaches. The food/dining industry is in my blood and I have assembled a restaurant guide which I update nearly daily and is available by email. Comments, additions, corrections and suggestions are always welcome. Share your experiences with us all.

My visits are usually in Oct/Nov and Apr/May, each for 2-3 weeks. Friends gather regularly for cool drinks on Playa Los Muertos, side trips north and south or dining out. Let me know if you care to join us!

Puerto Vallarta... Fall, 2008 The rains are beginning to wither away for some months and the visitors are starting to pack the planes into PVR for Holiday or Beach or Visit Friends. I will do all of the above. Puerto Vallarta, Mexico Anybody going to tropical paradise Puerto Vallarta, Mexico in August? I plan on being there 8/1-8/11/05 staying in the SouthSide area, Playa Los Muertos.
