| Hi there, My travel partner and I are going to be bouncing around the Philippines and are interested in heading to Borneo next but are not sure how to get to Borneo efficiently from the Philippines. Thinking possibly there may be a ferry....? Not very interested in flying from Manila or Cebu to Kuala Lumpur. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Kyle | ||||||||||||||||||||||||

If you're in Manila, you would probably find ferry transport from Manila to Zamboanga City, my guess Cebu should have a ferry to Zamboanga.... You just need to get yourself to Zamboanga by air or sea from any island in the Philippines or land travel if you're in Davao City... Zamboanga is a major city in Mindanao, famous for its vinta boats. you can check Zamboanga's website.. http://www.zamboanga.net/TouristInfo.htm around_the_world Laetitia Lair Post Count: 114 Msg: #3 358 days ago, December 11th 2008 | You can find as well low cost flight between Manilla and Kota (airasia), check out their website, | Cheers Laetitia kerbau1 Tristan Post Count: 4 Msg: #4 31 days ago, November 3rd 2009 | You can catch a nightly ferry from sandakan to Zambonga. I don't have the contact details but you can easily hop on it and buy your ticket when you get to Sandakan. The ferry office is in downtown Sandakan and most taxi drivers will know where to buy it from. | Sorry I couldn't be much more helpful.
