Hi, I am looking for the quickest way to get to Ko Pha Ngan from Bangkok! I know there are various ways to get there, but I am looking for the fastest. If it is with via aircraft please advise to which airport is the nearest & also how long the ferry ride is. Thanks - Ciao!

As far as I know there is still not an airport on Koh Pha Ngan. You would need to fly to Koh Samui and then take a boat to Koh Pha Ngan from there. This would be the fastest way. You would likely fly from the domestic airport(Don Muang Airport) in Bangkok. Buy a plane ticket from an agent in Bangkok or on the internet and it will state on the ticket which airport.
I would personally prefer to take a night VIP from Bangkok to Surat Thani and then take a boat to Koh Pha Ngan. It might take a little longer but it is less hassle than getting to and from airports, checking in and all that.

Reply to this I agree with Mell. Her suggestion regarding the VIP bus is cheaper and gives you some down time but the flight to Samui then ferry/speed boat to Pha Ngan is the quickest.
