I'm looking for the cheapest way to get from Nepal (or New Delhi) to Java Indonesia...

I'm planning a trip through Southeast Asia next year and am looking for some advice. I will be in Nepal for a couple of weeks in January, and from there I want to go to Java Indonesia. I had originally thought about going into India for a week to check out Agra, and then fly out of New Delhi, as this seemed to be the cheapest option. It's still a $500+ flight though (that has a stopover in Abu Dhabi which makes it over 15 hours).
Does anyone else have any suggestions or recommendations on how I can make the trek from Nepal/India over to Indonesia as cheaply as possible?

Reply to this Good cheap flights I found are from Bangkok to Jakarta(Indonesia) for somewhere in January 2009 - one way 99$. Now just to figure out a cheap way to get to BKK from Delhi or KTM(Nepal). Either Indian Airways DEL -BKK. India Air. Hope that will help.
