Any atms at the airport, changing currency

I would luv some info on the best way obtaininig and changing currency in cuba. I am travelling mexico so only have minimal us dollars on me for just in cases, no pounds or euros, and have been using the mexican pesos from auto teller machines. Shall i take mex pesos over with me and get them changed or try an atm over there. I have mastercard my partner visa and both have cirrus. We are staying in a hotel for one night only the rest casa particular.
