(cheap) 4 weeks Thailand (bkk, chang mai, north ect) 2 weeks laos 2 weeks cambodia 3 weeks vietnam 2 weeks phillipines 4 weeks indonesia 3 weeks malaysia 3 weeks southern thailand 2-4 weeks India????? -How much time should be spent in India? -Would it be silly for two women traveling together to stick to the south? In Vietnam - many seaside for your to stay: Halong in the North, Danang or HOi An in central, Quy Nhon, Nha Trang, Vung Tau in the south and PHu Quoc Island. Nice day. It's not silly to stick to the south if that's what you want to do, it's up to you, and will depend on how much time you have in the end. But you'll find you'll get used to India pretty quickly and after a while in the south, there won't be anything in the north that you won't already have experienced to some degree in the south, in terms of full -on ness (if this is what you're worried about). People always say the south is a bit more chilled, and it is, but you'll be fine in the north too. I was a solo female traveller and was in India for 6 months - I started in the south and by the time I went north, I was so used to India, it just felt normal! | I would say give yourself 2 months in India if you can, to really be able to experience the place, get used to it, and see enough of the country without running yourselves ragged. I found it got better and better the longer I was there. Ces Cecille Manangan Post Count: 10 Msg: #5 472 days ago, August 18th 2008 | I'd say stay 4 weeks in Philippines. The Philippines has plenty of islands (I guess around 7,000!), so you need lots of time to visit the best ones. I think Palawan, Boracay, Davao, Baguio, Bohol and Samal are some of its finest destinations. | riding the globe bobby d Post Count: 8 Msg: #6 463 days ago, August 26th 2008 | i would allow yourself more time in india, thailand, and vietnam. cambodia you can see in one week (temples, the capital, killing fields, etc). thailand has so much to offer from the north down to the south. cambodia has some nice islands in the gulf of thailand which can be a bit cheaper than thailand beaches. | Number of Users: 6 | Number of Posts: 6 | ||||||||||||||
