Hey, same here. I'm planning to travel alone in Oct/Nov this year in europe for 16 days, it will be my first time to go to Europe and the second time to travel alone.

I have been to Japan alone for about a week last year, i had a great time there, and it's really a great country, people is very nice and helpful even they dont speak english and i dont speak japanese.

For safe or not, I do worry about it this time, cos it's not a short period of time 2 weeks alone in another country. Reply to this

Travel with or without someone with you, or forever regret it.

Thats my rule when it comes to traveling. Research before you go. Dont rely mainly on travelbooks, most of them are not updated. Always read blogs, especially the latest one. Learn to ask questions to people that you may meet. Reply to this

I second that rule. Many people want to travel, but when it comes to actually getting down to it they bail. Travelling takes a certain amount of dedication and friends can get cold feet as they consider risking their career and financial security.
