Were on our way to Australia for a few years for my job and we have 6 weeks to spare!
Were stopping in Chicago for 2 then we have 1 month exactly to spare!!
We land in Mexico City and fly from there one month later!
We know were pushing it for time but we can't have anymore time, so what i want to know is what exactly we can see in a month!!
My girlfriend wants to see mexcio, honduras, guatamala, Belize, Costa Rica and Nicaragua - but realistically what can we do??
Has anyone done the same - or can anyone reccommend a route so we can see as much as possible!!!
Thanks!!!!!
Reply to this Hello Luke 😊
If I flew into Mexico city and had a month, I would spend 2 weeks making my way down to Guatamala or Honduras(whichever I could get as far as without rushing) and then spend 2 weeks getting back to Mexico city. More than that would be too much, in my opinion.

Reply to this Hi Luke,
I would head down to oaxaca, spend a couple of days there, then down to Puerto Escondido. Head across to Palenque and San Cristobal, you could spend a few days in that area, it is fancinating. Cross the border into Guatemala and head down the Antigua, you can go to Chichicastenango and lake Atitlan on the way. Antigua is gorgeous, then fly up to tikal from Guatemala City, visit the ruins there and from there you can go across to Belize and head out to the Cayes...I love Caye Caulker! From Belize City there are buses up to Tulum, Playa del Carmen or Cancun (though Isla Mujures is betere than cancun!) and from Cancun you can bus it back to Mexico City.
I hope the info helps
