Hi All ,

I have decide to go to Cambodia and Vietnam In January next year, I've been to Cambodia only for 5 days with work last year and Loved it! 5 Days was a tease!so i want to go back and do it more in depth, I will be at this stage Travelling on my Own.. so i have decided to go with a Tour group instead but have a situation of which one to pick. Has any one been to ASIA with these two company's and if so how was it!! - for Further information read my blog entry

at the moment Im leaning towards Intrepid and this is the tour which appeals most as i only have a month! And it goes it a few destinations in Cambodia not just Siem Reap and Phnom Penh (which ive been to but still cant to Visit AGAIN! )

so Any one that has been on Intrepid or Geckos to Asia i would love to hear from you!

Thanks!

INTREPID!!!

he he - I think you need to chose your style of traveling and decide. I like the fact intrepid does small intimate groups, lets you do what ya want, and looks pretty fun and cruisey.

We will be going with intrepid through China in Oct-Nov on China Basix, which is real backpacker style, and allows you to have a lot of freedom, chose your own activites, eat where ya want etc. Reply to this

I'm an independant traveller through and through and shudder at the thought of going anywhere with a (small) group. Last year I went to India for the first time and for the first time in my life didn't want to go it alone so booked for 10 days with Intrepid and hated it. The trip wasn't thought through very well and we always ended up at places in the heat of the late afternoon being rushed everywhere. There was a couple on the trip that had just done the indochina 30 day thing with Intrepid too and said it was awful. I'm going to Vietnam and Cambodia solo later in the year and can't wait to get back out there NOT IN AN ORGANIZED group. Reply to this
