cap ducal-restaurant that supposed to look like a wrecked ship
had to be out of the hotel this morning as we are moving over to val paraiso, the weather was poor when we got up as it has been a few times since we got here, it starts off bad and then the sun comes out around lunchtime.
we had booked a boutique hotel for a couple of days and when we got to the hotel it was fantastic, right at the top of the hill overlooking the bay, the town is built on very steep hills all looking down onto the sea, and the hills are so steep there is the vernicular (??) cars to take you up.
the town is a world heritage site because of the english and german architecture, my grandad told me about the alterations the germans did to our architecture in the 1940´s and said he wasnt impressed.
its hard work getting about but it really is a stunning place if not too run down.
we are staying at the robinson crusoe hotel and have the suite on the top floor ans as you can see the views are stunning.
