another scorching day today, the papers were saying that it was going to get up to 97. bit too much for me, rose wanted to do some shopping so after breakfast we went down to florida street which is the main shopping area had a drink and i left her to it.
i headed off up corrientes which is one of the older areas in town, quite a good place to explore but to be fair its so hot and humid after a couple of hours you are glad to get back inside into the air conditioning.
we went back around the cemetario for dinner, there are quite a few nice restaurants around the area and its buzzy so you can have a few beers whilst strolling around and we settled on one of the old restaurants which serve the huge steaks, which meant rose had fish and i had a piece that wasnt bigger than your next door neighbour.
we got chatting to a couple of americans who were off to the andes trout fishing for 5 days, they have a guide and camp out next to the river, they have a chef going with them so i dont think

old theatre
they were roughing it.
i was just generally telling them that their country was going down the pan which they agreed and they were telling me a similar thing about mine which again i couldnt argue about.
nice blokes and getting out of buenos aires and the heat would have been ok by me
we didnt leave them until 11.30 so quite a late night considering rose has to have 12 hours sleep every night
