Today is my last day to volunteer with the five year old students in Villa El Salvador neighborhood in Lima, Peru. The teacher wanted me in a supporting role and that worked for both of us. Middle school students in San Isidro, a wealthy area of Lima, came with projects, songs, and a story to read for the students. The students were enthusiastic about making paper Christmas trees and decorating them.

It is my last day at the CCS house in San Borja neighborhood of Lima where we volunteers live, eat, sleep, and make new friends with other volunteers.
