Huacachina is a little oasis in the desert just outside the town of Ica surrounded by huge sand dunes. Here we had an unforgettable experience being driven in a buggy up and down the sand dunes fast, so fast, like a roller coaster. We also tried sandboarding. Well, Kiki and Monia didn´t exactly stand on the boards, but it was fun nevertheless. Kiki had an eye infection, hence the cool yellow goggles provided...
We stayed for two days and had a lovely time.

Monia and Kiki did not venture out on the biggest sand dunes. Instead they entertained themselves by making the buggy driver take lots of pictures of them. He of course did not object.
