Our 4 day Pilgrimage to the Inca Kingdom, Machu Pichu, was gruelling in some parts however one of the most rewarding experiences so far on my journey. The round shaped structure is the sun tower. In Inca times they used to tell the time by when the sun would shine through the windows of the sun tower and where it would fall on the ground. This guided them as to when to plant crops to what time of the day it was.

As you come down from machu pichu in the bus which is a half an hour bus ride..this little local man runs ahead of the bus the whole way, then stops to wave as we pass then runs ahead again.. he does this the whole way from the top to the bottom ..an incredible site... that deserved a tip of course....
