It all began in Samaipata, Bolivia ...I woke up in the middle of the night and remembering my dream of white peaks, soft white powder and perfectly shaped snowflakes.... figured it was a sign that needed to be acted upon immediately...so first thing in the morning I googled all the ski resorts in south America and decided that the first stop after Bolivia would be Bariloche ..a southern ski resort in Argentina that was apparently having its best ski season in years... Thus I Found myself 3 weeks later after a 70hour bus ride from la paz through chile.. standing on the top of a mountain in front of one of the most beautiful scenic sights Id seen since climbing in ecuador... Fitted out in white beanie, goggles, ski pants, jacket, boots and skii´s with a ... read more
