Colca Canyon

From Cusco we took a night bus to Arequipa, then immediatly got on another bus to Chuvay, for the Colca Canyon.
Lo and I are not used to being so Rapid.. but Lotte has just 2 weeks so we are cramming it all in..

We were still at altitude and climbing higher, into the desert, but as old pros at it now, it didnt affect us that much. We found some more hot springs in chuvay, to soothe our aching, swollen trek and bus legs.

The next day we went to the Colca Canyon, its one of the deepest ones - deeper than the grand canyon. We went looking for Condors. We found about 7 of them cruising above us, they were huge and very elegant. It was fab and a very nice way to spend our time recovering..
It was really beautiful.

After spending days on buses, we are off on another one all night again, to Nazca.
