Hey,

Yesterday afternoon we received "the" call from the airport that our "maletas " or bags were found in Caracas, Lufthansa forgot to transfer them to Quito, nice, nice.
Anyway, yesterday evening was the meeting to compose the group: we thought that the group would be a maximum of twelve, and after a while waiting, only the two of us were present. Paula will be our private conductor for more than a month.
Today we discovered the old townsection with a local guide Marco, and we stood on the equatorline north of Quito.
Tomorrow we leave for Coca by airplane to enter the jungle for three days, to a lodge La Selva.
