Hey Scott!! I'm brazilian and i was looking foward the posts about my country.. then i found yours! I hope you are doing a good trip, and i admit the people here doesnt speak English a lot, but we love to have tourists in our country! Probably you got to see beautiful beaches and places.. but you should go to other cities too!! Everybody resume Brazil to Rio, but there are tones of other wonderfull places! you should look for "Cataratas do Iguaçu", "Fernando de Noronha", "Pantanal", "Florianópolis"... Any recommendations you want, just write me an e-mail.!! Have a good trip!

Hey stinker pants! So glad you are enjoying your travels!!! Sounds like you are having a great time....it is nice when you are in a swarm of foreigners to find that one soul who speaks your language!!! Send more pics when your Chicago buddy shares them...sounds like you are really indulging in the local culture in Saquerema! When do you leave for Rio? Manana? And you are picking up more on the language? How did the tutoring go? The little munchkin has been sick! She missed out on Halloween! I spent three days making this adorable squirrel costume for her and she didnt get to use it! I'll have to put it on her for a photo op....she did go to a little party on thursday...I have a few pics. I'll send you some when I get a minute. she is feeling much better today...if you are around in the evening maybe we could Skype, if you are heading out tomorrow...we would love to see you before you head off into your new adventure! All is well on our end...no big news...just been nursing Caressa back to health. The weather is finally getting more tolerable and we are off to Papa's in a few weeks! Grandma and Chuck are coming down for Thanksgiving....should be nice but we will miss you!!! Be safe and stay in touch! Love and miss you! Sissy....
