Cesta k nej viedla cez slnkom vysusenu krajnu, nikde ani najmensi tien, len kde tu kaktus. Postupne sa okolo nas zacali tycit skaly erodovane do roznych tvarov a my sme sa pomali dostali k dedinke Toroyoi, kde sme presli cez most ponad rieku. Tu sme museli nasledovat po pravom brehu az k dalsej dedinke. Popri rieke bolo vsetko zelene, vsade same stromy a policka miestnych ludi, vyzeralo to ako v oaze. V agenture nas varovali pred rozburenou riekou, ale mi sme cely cas kracali popri malej riecke a jej polosuchom pieskovom koryte, az na maly skalnaty kusok. Minuli sme Cerro Criston a La Torre.
pol hodinke sme stretli dalsieho a ten mal tu istu odpoved.
Today started very well, nobody woke us up so we could get a proper sleep and there was even a hot water so we both could have a nice long shower. For today we planned to visit another parts of countryside around Tupiza. Our first destination was Quebrada Seca. The road led us through sun dried country, there was not a tiniest bit of shade, just few cacti around. Gradualy we could see more nad more rocks eroded into many different shapes. After a few hours we got to a tiny village of Toroyoi, where we crossed a bridge. We had to followed the river till the next village. The surrounding area was lush green, lots of trees and vegetable feelds around and we felt like being in oasis. Day before we were warned the river will be wild and high, but instad of that we were
walking by a tiny calm river and its nice sandy bed, just a bit on rocks. We passed Cerro Criston and La Torre. After a while we reached the second bridge but we could get to it so we crossed a river. After this we walked on train rails all the way to Tupiza, which was absolutely safe because train goes just twice a week in the evening. In the beginning we met a local and asked him how long it would take, he said half an hour, after that we met another guy with same question and same answer. In the end it took us 2 hours to get to Tupiza. Most locals dont own watch so we think that is the reason why they dont have any idea about time. We finally got to Tupiza and agreed this was a very nice trip which just confirmed that this place and its countryside is just beautiful.
