Loving Tupiza

First of all Lau says thanks for all her birthday messages......I´ll come on to how we celebrated in a second!!!

It´s been really eventful since our last blog and we´ve started to find warmer weather. The salt flats at Uyuni were amazing and we had a full day checking them out. The whole group jeeped out onto the flats and we´ve some unbelieveable photos. (Managed to borrow a camara from our group leader but haven´t got the lead to upload.......sorry).

Some of the group had a bit of a scare.....one of the wheels dropped off the last jeep. Luckily just as they were setting off but it could have been really nasty.....Bolivian health and safety isn´t the best.....you should see the electric showers!!

Overall the day was great but the best was yet to come.The group went out for a birthday meal and then onto a cocktail place a few of them had visited the day before. We clubbed together to buy Lau a couple of interesting cocktails......basically the mugs were in the shape of a man and a womans rude bits (Lau´s made me write that......I wanted to be more descriptive), anyway haven´t laughed as loud for ages. Again photos will be provided at some point. All in all a great night was had by all.

Next day was a very bumpy drive day to Tupiza, our last Bolivian stop. There were a few sore heads but Lau was surprizingly ok.

Tupiza´s lovely, a small little village with loads of hikes to mupliple canyons. So we´ve been checking out a few of those today in the sun.

Tomorrow´s another drive day and this is our last hostel day for 9 days....Lau´s really looking forward to the camping!!! We´re off to Salta in Argentina which is one of our main activity locations......rafting, quads, zipp wires etc etc

The internet is useless so we´ve read all the message but it takes ages to accept them....sorry. I´m also struggling to get hold of any footy scores so some messages re these would be much appreciated.
