Dnes nas cakal trojdnovy vylet do Salar de Uyuni a odtial prechod do Cile a tak sme si rano museli ist pre peciatky do pasu. Potom uz len stacilo nalozit veci, pozbierat ostatnych cestujucich a vyrazit. A prave nasi spolucestujuci boli pre nas naozaj dobra sprava, cestovali sme s ceskym parom Nikolou a Jakubom a parom z Uruguayu - Ines a Juan. Neskor sme stravili vyse hodiny kruzenim po Uyuni a nakupovanim potravin - zlaty supermarket a potom sme konecne vyrazili do Salar de Uyuni. Nasou prvou zastavkou bola Kolchani, mala dedinka ktora sa zivi spracovanim soly a potom len solna pust. Vsade kam sme sa pozreli bolo bielo a nad tym krasna modra obloha s bielymi oblacikmi. V Salari sme navstivili Isla del Pescado, volakedy to byval kolarovy utes, z ktoreho ostal "ostrov" porasteny kaktusmi - najstarsi z nich ma viac ako 1000 rokov. Este sme si kupili skvele chilske vino a nakoniec mali pekny vecer.

Today we started our three day trip to Salar de Uyuni and after that we planned to cross to Chile, so we needed our exit stamps from Bolivia. They asked money for that, and of course, no confirmation so we are not sure if they had right to do so or not. We were meant to leave by 10.30 and our driver Facundo /that is his real name/ arrived already at 11. After that we packed our staff, picked up the rest of our group and set off. And our fellow travellers were a great news for us, we traveled with a Czech couple - Nikola and Jakub and couple from Uruguay - Ines and Juan. We couldnt believe how lucky we were, finally after three months we could speak our language with other people, not just english or our poor spanish. Our first stop was a graveyard of locomotives, which was actually a scrapyard, but it was a nice place anyway and we could climb up all the locomotives as we liked. Later we spend another hour driving around Uyuni and buying supplies - no supermarkets and then we finally went to Salar de Uyuni. There was a sea here many years ago, which dried up and what was left is the biggest salt desert in the world. Our first stop was in Colchani, small village processing and selling salt, salt products and after that just salt. Everywhere we looked we could see just white and over that beautiful blue sky with perfect white clouds. In Salar we visited Isla del Pescado, which used to be a coral reef, but later it became an "island" covered with cacti, some of which are over 1000 years old. Evening was slowly aproaching, all the other cars were stopping by hotel only us driving on and on. In the end we stopped in ugly hotel where we were told to spend our night, in the agency we were promised to spend night in a salt hotel. We werent happy so we all started to protest and after a while our driver took us to a proper salt hotel. And yes, everything was made of salt- walls, tables, chairs and even the floor was covered in salt. Our driver promised us to come back with our dinner around 8ish and after 10 we went to look for him and met him on his way to us. We also bought some great chilean wine and in the end had a nice evening.
