It was the other county we (I) was nervous about visiting. We could write a book on the horror stories that we had heard...yet anyone we had spoke to loved the place and nothing bad had happened to them , personally, well apart from a lot of dodgy tummies and liquid loo visits. Bolivia turned out to be a interesting, sometimes very frustrating amazingly beautiful country. I´m glad we made it. We... Read Full Entry

Hair today Gone Tomorrow.
Hi there, just had to drop a line and comment on your blog. Great reading, great photos. There surly is a book in you Darlene. Colie, travel seems to have helped you come to terms with those lovely locks. You seem to be having your shining moment with the locks, curly hair is so in right now. Death Road is something I most defiantly would not do. I got vertigo looking at your pictures and felt queasy. Eagerly awaiting the pics from Iguazo Falls. Sandra xx

Yo Hombres
hey guys, First off, well impressed with all of the Tour De France antics out of yiz. Fair fucks to yez! : ) Now anyone who goes to work with coco leaves, dynamite and alcohol has to feel a little bit happy, even if they were slaves, there were/are much worse off slaves I guess? Anyway, enough shiting out of me. Was at Trev's wedding last weekend and it was a really great laugh, right from the moment we got off the plane up until sometime Sunday evening when I crashed and burned. Lovely town with great bars and outdoor areas in massive square. Reception was such a great laugh, the guy who was running the show never stopped. Really got us all going. Actually the whole thing never stopped, not for meal or speeches or anything, which was fine by all of us. I think there was something like 9 courses! I probably had about 4 of them, the rest I was up dancing/out smoking. Everyone else seemed to have a great time too. Trev was chuffed with himself for sure. Meant to get back to you before now, but was thinking the Christmas plan over - cheers for asking by the way - and I reckon I'm gonna leave it. I have to put poor oul Pete (my car) down pretty soon, so that dosh for trip will be gone alas : ( I am a good little saver, so I'll be hoping to hit down under next year and if/when I do I'll see where yez are at and hook up for some good old timey mayhem : ) PS: Am in the middle of a 2 week holiday doing loads of DIY and gardening. Really looking forward to heading to Galway with the band next Wednesday to record 6 songs. Will be sure to send yez a copy when we get it all done and dusted. Until next time my lovely hombres... PS: Keep those curls pumping Col! PPS: Pics/videos of wedding up on my Facebook.
