The Hills are alive with the sound of troops

This particular spot on the border has been the scene of numerous invasions. An informative map at the site points out a number of ruins and remains of fortifications off in the distance. It also depicted the roads taken by English armies invading Scotland.

It was even hotter in my room last night but with us being on a side street at least things were quiet enough to leave my windows open.
