Mary Queen of Scots slept here

On the other side of town we wandered onto the grounds of this stately old home which once housed Mary Queen of Scots. Throughout the East Coast of the U.S. every old building seems to have a plaque stating "George Washington slept here". In Scotland the same is true of the ill-fated Mary Stuart.
Day 11 (Across the border)

It was even hotter in my room last night but with us being on a side street at least things were quiet enough to leave my windows open.
