Now on to York

We had an appointment to meet our local tour guide in the city of York, England so we made haste as we headed Southward. We stopped at a huge rest stop on the A1 Motorway where we grabbed Whoppers at the omnipresent Burger King. As we came into the city limits of York we passed over the Grand Canal.

Day 11 (Across the border)

It was even hotter in my room last night but with us being on a side street at least things were quiet enough to leave my windows open.
