View toward the Forum

As much as I enjoy travel and history I just couldn't concentrate on what our tour guide was saying - even with the one-on-one convenience of the radio headsets. My mind and body wandered around the Coliseum. I took this shot of the view outside the stadium while everyone in our group was listening to the guide.

Day Six (Thursday)

As if the regular Italian breakfast wasn't bad enough, our otherwise wonderful hotel didn't have a breakfast room that could accomodate our group. We had to walk two blocks to a tiny strip mall.
