Remains of the Temple of Saturn

Although the day was overcast it was very muggy and uncomfortable. I wasn't the only one feeling uncomfortable. Everyone was belting down water and sodas whenever an opportunity presented itself. A couple kids stuck their heads under water fountains. I just kept spraying myself with my misting bottle.

As if the regular Italian breakfast wasn't bad enough, our otherwise wonderful hotel didn't have a breakfast room that could accomodate our group. We had to walk two blocks to a tiny strip mall. The empty lots we passed were chock full of empty bottles, cardboard boxes, dog crap and waist high weeds.
