WASHINGTON, D.C. July 29 - August 4, 2009 It had been over twenty-five years since we spent any time in DC, so we were really looking forward to our trip. However, we never guessed we would enjoy it so immensely and consider it to be one of our favorite vacations. It’s the best city in the world for a “fun education,” and it makes history daily! Welcome to our travel blog, where we will post photos and journals of our traveling adventures. We have visited all 50 states and 100 countries, and most of those journals and pics are already archived in an old-fashioned, printed volume. I began this more-modern medium of chronicling our travels in January, 2005, but I'll also go back and add earlier trips we found particularly enjoyable.
