Hello lovelies! We recently went to Arran for an overnight stay. Its amazing to think that despite being so close, and only an hour's ferry ride away, we'd never been before now. We decided to go without Beth - A) to get a little bit of time to ourselves, and B) we wanted to have a good old drive round the island and do a reccie of best places, beaches and activities in the event that we migh ... read more

Hullo!! We did a big fat trip a wee while ago covering Bonnie Scotland (our home), France, Spain, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand and China. Then we came home and had a lovely baby girl called Beth and Alan went back to work. Beth is 14 months old now (I know - where does the time go??) and we haven't been anywhere exotic for yonks. Consequently we are now 'dormant bloggers' which makes us feel a bit dreary, so we better get our skates on and find some good places to visit and report on pronto!!.................... full info
