Bela (aka Bela Boo) is a lab mix. She's been training with her doggie-pack, and is very much looking forward to this trip. She endeavors to get used to her protective booties so that she can come with us on the Lost Coast.

The Epic Road Trippers

Shay and Kate

We're Shay and Kate, a couple of 31 year old grrls who live in Atlanta, GA and who are very much in love with each other, travel, and the great outdoors. As of June 12th, 2006, we, our two dogs (Emma and Bela), and our Subaru (packed with all the gear it can carry) are embarking on an epic 10 week road trip around the US. We'll be camping, hiking, backpacking, exploring, and visiting with family and friends.
