Bird Sanctuary
Shortly after this picture was taken we smelled crocodile and decided to swiftly turn back.

We spent a couple of days in Mysore. We checked out the Maharaja's Palace (which we were convinced we lived in during one of our past lives...) Then we met a really nice rikshaw driver who took us around everywhere. We saw temples, cremation places by the river, a shrine that had a tree growing in it, an execution chamber as well as the nearby bird sanctuary. Apart from our dirty hotel we had a ve ... read more
