We are in F group, meaning we start last, so we had to wait for almost 45 minutes to actually get to the starting line. Yes I am freezing...

Well, I survived the bitter winds and the freezing temperatures of Seoul. I also survived 42.something kilometers of running.....something I will think twice about the next time I am presented with the chance to run a marathon. It wasn't so bad the first 16 miles, but after that I wanted to end it...haha. seriously, though the legs cramped up and I found myself looking for a subway station to m ... read more

I am 22 years old, and a recent graduate of Benedictine College in Atchison, KS, USA. I left for Seoul, South Korea in August, 2005 and I have now been here about 6 months. I will leave in August, 2006. I am teaching English at a Hogwan (private school). Life can be a little crazy at this particular school as in most Hogwans.....but anyways I hope you find what I have to say somewhat interesting and funny at times....and maybe even convince you to come here for a year!
