Before the marathon
My coach Jae is in the middle (he's the shortest one) and my friend Audrey is at the end. We are seeking shelter from the wind in the Kyobo Building next to the U.S. Consulate.

Well, I survived the bitter winds and the freezing temperatures of Seoul. I also survived 42.something kilometers of running.....something I will think twice about the next time I am presented with the chance to run a marathon. I am 22 years old, and a recent graduate of Benedictine College in Atchison, KS, USA. I left for Seoul, South Korea in August, 2005 and I have now been here about 6 months. I will leave in August, 2006. I am teaching English at a Hogwan (private school). Life can be a little crazy at this particular school as in most Hogwans.....but anyways I hope you find what I have to say somewhat interesting and funny at times....and maybe even convince you to come here for a year!
