Visitors on Sunday : Lovely!!

Today we had a visit from Tineke, Amy, Rylee, Michael (S), Mike and James. We all had morning tea and coffee and most went up to the pine plantation to gather pine cones. Amy wants to paint them gold and silver as Christmas decorations. They managed to find three quite big bags full! Meantime Michael (S) and George had a good chat. Very enjoyable. James came on his motor bike - it has been completely re-sprayed and looks just like new. Lucky James! Rylee is now very inquisitive and loves exploring - she is lovely!

fir cones
are good for lighting the fire too. This year I've been collecting leaves to spray and give as presents, maybe in a jar, if I can find any suitable. Also, soaked some in linseed oil, they look lovely, shiny too.
