Hi to you all and a very happy new year, had a fantastic night here in Auckland, not too much to drink but the atmosphere was brilliant, absolutely no drinking allowed on the streets so it's the first new year we did'nt have a drink in our hand to toast the new year.
The fireworks were amazing! both from the tower & from somewhere off shore, we did'nt know which way too look, what a wonderful night, we walked back to our hotel and stopped for a McDonalds ice cream on the way, it's got to be a first for me to be eating ice cream at 2am in a morning!. The icing on the cake had to be New years day, we went on a trip looking for Dolphins & Whales, we were lucky enough to see Dolphins after nearly 3hrs but well worth the search, dream come true!!. we are just waiting now for the bus to pick us up to go to the airport, on our way to Sydney, trip is rapidly coming to it's end (good job really, too big for any of my clothes!) Auckland is fab and well worth a visit, here comes Sydney, speak to you from there love and hugs The Bids XXXXXXXXXXX
