West Coast Eagles v. Brisbane Lions at Subiaco Oval
Josh and I went to an Aussie rules footy match today, we saw the West Coast Eagles crush the Brisbane Lions by 122 points to 63... it was an awesome game, but one of the most brutal sports I have ever seen, some of the players took some really big hits, the kind that would have football players writhing on the ground for hours. From there we went out to the pub, watched some football, dissappointed to see Chelsea win the league, but i guess it was inevitable
Had probably the best day so far yesterday went on a trip to the Pinnacles, these weird rock formations in the middle of the desert. We also saw Koalas and Kangaroos at Yanchep national park, and went sand boarding on the dunes (like snow boarding, but on sand) it was so much fun. I accidently deleted the photos i have of the Koalas though, really annoying. The day before that we went to the beach in a town called Cottesloe, that was really nice, it was a little windy which was a shame, but the sun was out so it was fairly warm.
This is our last night at the Perth
AFL 2
A little too far zoomed out... but that's everyone waving flags after the Eagles scored a goal hostel before we head up to Freemantle. I love this city, reminds me loads of California, but seems a lot more laid back in many ways. Really suits me.
That's about it, we've spent the rest of our time exploring perth and the surrounding area, shopping and things like that.

Hello from sunny Guildford...
Hey Tom, good to hear from you... Sounds pretty cool out there hanging with the Koalas! I think Jon did a similar thing to sand-boarding on the dunes and said it was amazing - me and Ollie have been very envious of you sitting in our grey classrooms this week thinking of what you're getting up to!! Keep us posted... Tim
