Friday was spent simply enjoying the relaxing nature of life in a beautiful
small country town. We spent some of the morning at the library taking
advantage of the air-conditioning and went on a few walks to the town
centre. The remainder of the day was spent doing as we pleased.

The local ducks and rosellas joined us for breakfast on Saturday morning -
amazing how enthralled you are by these little things yet it's not
something you experience in suburbia. Time to move on and after we saddled
up we hit the track heading towards Augusta. More stunning country to pass
through and it never gets tiresome.

We had in mind to do two days camping before the next caravan park but the
first stop didn't get the go-ahead. The camping grounds were right next to
a river but all and sundry seemed to have lobbed to take advantage of the
weekend with plenty of options for the avid angler.

Our patience paid off after landing at Leeuwin Naturaliste National Park
which is quieter, more secluded and the Park rules focus on sustainable
environment management with no dogs or generators allowed. There are walk
trails aplenty and a few nearby attractions which I am sure we'll get to
tomorrow.
