Cake Shop!
We're definitely going to be a bit fatter when we get home! :) 16th August - Hello Suze!
Me and Amy are so excited today because Suzanne who I used to live with at the bungalow, and who now lives in Melboure, is coming to stay in our hostel tonight so that we can hit the town!
It was so lovely to see a friendly face and someone you actually know and havent just met for the first time.
Suze showed us round St Kilda - we went to some vintage shops on Carlisle Street and I bought a dress! 😊 I love it! Then we went to a cake shop and had hot chocolate and a selection of cakes 😊 We walked back through the St Kilda Botanical Gardens which are really impressive.
We got really dressed up for our night out (well as dressy as you can go with jelly shoes as your only going out shoes). We got the tram to Brunswick Street and Suze took us to a really quirky vegetarian restaurant which was out of this world! I'm converted! Then we went to the Black Pearl for an expensive cocktail. Amy didnt like hers and asked if she could swap her drink for
Vege Bar!
Scrummy food! another one and the barman said yes!!!! She chose an even more expensive one as well!!!!
After cocktails Suze took us to Night Cat which is a nightclub with a live jazz band in the centre of room. It was brilliant - the music was great and so many people were dancing. We danced our little hearts out. Great recommendation - thanks Suze!
