Melbourne Day 1

Today we both woke up not really knowing where to start with Melbourne, so after our free breakfast (it tastes so much nicer when its free!!) we opened the lonely planet and decided to follow one of their walks for the day which lead us to the botanical gardens. We had a good old walk around the park, which was beautiful and then had a bit of a laze on the grass, enjoying the sun and the heat, until we realised we'd been in a bit too long and hadn't put enough sun cream on - whoops!! We headed back into town adn had look around the shops. I'm finding it really hard to get my head around the layout of melbourne for some reason, and feel perpetually disorientated!

We're both not really feeling Melbourne at the moment, we've headr so many good things about it, but we just weren't quite ready to leave Sydney. Ah well, we'll see what tomorrow brings (definately a bit more shade will be in order!!!)
