Surfer's Paradise

Day 54
First day in surfers involves exploring. Our hostel is at main beach a short bus to Surfer's Paradise and situated at Marina Cove. Usual first day in a new place - exploring found the beach and main shopping/eating/drinking district and getting some groceries. Explored the marina at night just wandering about.

Day 55
WEnt to Australia Fair massive shopping centre to go to The Gold Coast School of Hairdressing for our $10 hair cuts - badly needed! So thats 5 pound ish. Satisfied with cuts not so much the blow dry but a bargain so cant complain! Walk about shops have tea then Go for 1 drink at the Marina.

Day 56
Had a wander around Pacific Fair shopping centre, then lay on the beach at Surfers. Had a night out at Surfer's went to an Irish bar that was bouncing as the Hawthorn had won the AFL League, afterwards we headed to Melba's for some shimmying on the dancefloor.

Day 57
The usual day after the night before - mcd's, sunbathing, food and tv.

Day 58
More sunbathing and wandering. Had planned to go to a few theme parks whilst here but quite dear and not a patch on Alton Towers or anyhing so keeping our cash for when Laura comes over.
