Brisbane

Right well we are going for a different format now seeing as we're not doing much bar eating and sunbathing, we'll put a stop to boring you with a day by day account!

We firstly stayed at the Backpackers Inn at Brisbane which had its own Irish Bar attached to it - very handy. Met loads of sound people, so sound that when we went to stay in the Yellow Submarine hostel we went back most nights for the banter.

Didn't do much in Brisbane except wander around South bank - the man made beach close to the river. We managed to see some aboriginal dance show in the centre of Queen street which was pretty smart.

Laura joined us after a few days, she came over with her parents and they stayed at their friends house in the sticks (or bush) for a few days.

We went with laura and her mum and dad to Steve Irwins Australia Zoo. Very cool place and we saw the famous croc show amongst other things!
