Job Trial

Day 55, 05/11/11
This morning at 11 I had a trial at a cafe along the Esplanade. I was there for about an hour and 40mins and learned a fair bit - how to make the coffees, the food, what size portions etc. When I finished the owner said she would let me know if I have got the job or not by Monday so I am keeping my fingers crossed. If this job doesn't work out then I will consider heading to Melbourne pretty soon.
Stuart caught a flight to Sydney today so I am now by myself; in the afternoon I slapped on the suncream and headed down to the Lagoon, too bad that when I got there the clouds came out so I went and took advantage of some free internet before going back to the hostel to cook dinner. The heavens opened as I was cooking dinner and we had a huge downpoor. I went to the Casino in the evening again, I didn't bet but I find it fascinating standing and watching the people lose or win their money.
