Yesterday I flew into Brisbane with Virgin blue airlines. I took the coachtrans shuttle from the airport the hostel, banana bender, which took a few hours.

Again the hostel is basic, it's in an old building with some original features. The showers and taps are cold water only and there is no aircon just fans.

Today I walked to the botanical gardens, nothing in comparison to KL Gardens but there were a variety of unusual birds by the lake.

I also visited queen street, the main shopping area where there were auditions for Australia's next top model!

I made tea in the hostel and treated myself to a scoop of ice cream from movenpicks...mmm

I'm struggling to post of or Australia as it's been quite uneventful.

We will see what tomorrow(my last day in Brisbane) brings

Love to all xxx
