Blue Lagoon
Freshwater lake on Moreton Island On Wednesday Josh, Sam, and I left Brisbane for the day to go on a tour of Moreton Island. It was amazing. We were the only people booked on the tour so the guide was basically our personal chauffer for the day, brilliant. Moreton Island is the 3rd biggest sand island in the world, and it is pretty spectacular. We started the day off by heading to the dunes and doing some more sand boarding... it was much better than last time, the dunes were bigger, boards were faster and we were allowed to stand up on them as well! We combined with another tour to go down in a pyramid, we got put at the bottom, and basically ate sand all the way down... the tour guides found it hilarious, I looked albino after that run. After that we drove around the island saw some of the views, they were spectacular, the water was amazingly clear as well. So yeah, we took some photos, then went to the beach and went body boarding for ages, apparently there were sharks in the water, but we didn't see them! There were fish jumping out the water though, that's supposedly a sign that
Sand Boarding
The pyramid formation!! I ate a lot of sand during this run. Josh, Sam, and I got put at the bottom. Josh hated that so much that he begun to gnaw at his own arm they're being chased. We finished the day with a swim in the blue lagoon, a freshwater lake on the island. A brilliant day out.
Spent the next day in Brisbane again... put some pictures of Brisbane in as well, I realised I don't have any on the Brisbane blog. We're in Cairns at the moment, havent done much here yet, but have booked ourselves in for a Scuba diving course which will be brilliant, we'll get to see the Great Barrier Reef up close! Awesome.

Stunning!
Wow, it all looks idyllic....can it get any better? The colour of the sky in the Brisbane photo is just beautiful, with its reflection on the water and the beach. The talk of sharks doesn't help me to rest easy though!
