Day 68
Well.. we were supposed to end up in Kings Canyon today but instead headed back to alice for a restock and to save about 250km of driving on dirt roads. We were in and out of town in about 3 hours with supplies and food and working our way south down the stuart highway, I pinned Peana and we hit the magical 130km/h but that was all she had, fyi - the speed limit is 130 lol. Its odd that she worked so hard to hit 130 but will cruise at 120 all day with no issues, oh well. We only cruised at 100-110 anyways. Our stop for the night: Henbury meteorite reserve where we camped for free.. since no one had change… oops. We will get it next time I swear. LOL. While Sean and Jackie set up camp I headed back out of the reserve to get firewood for dinner. Yummy burgers. Actual burgers I should add, but not like dad’s, I miss those.
